FEBRUARY ACTING FOR THE CAMERA WORKSHOPS AT NMC!
ACTING FOR THE CAMERA WORKSHOPS AT NMC LEAD BY RANDY KOVITZ!
These intensive workshops focus on the skills actors need to work in the film and television industry. Using scenes from actual film and TV scripts, students work on camera during each session and receive a DVD of their work. The emphasis is on developing your unique qualities and personality in a truthful, dynamic way for use on camera.
Randy Kovitz has made his living in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. His work in film and television includes roles in hour dramas, sitcoms, soap operas, feature films, commercials, industrials and new media.
Credits include ER, The Practice, West Wing, King of Queens, Seinfeld, Dawn of the Dead, All My Children and many more.
He has taught Acting, Audition Technique, Acting for the Camera, Directing Actors for the Camera and Stage Combat, and worked at some of the nation’s most prestigious schools, including Yale School of Drama, Juilliard, NYU, SUNY Purchase and CMU, as well as Point Park University, Chatham University and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Randy also works behind the camera as a director, writer and producer.
“If you’re looking to improve your on-camera skills and book work, Randy Kovitz will give you the tools you need. He provides a supportive environment where actors of every level of expertise can grow and reach their full potential. I really enjoyed Randy’s weekend workshop and look forward to working with him on a regular basis.”
