This fun and informative 3-hour workshop is intended for:
Those of you just starting out who are now considering the pursuit of some work as an actor
Those who’ve taken some time away from acting and may be looking to get back into the swing of things.
The workshop has 3 major parts:
1). Getting started in acting:
•Making the decision to pursue acting gigs and finding out what you do well
•What kinds of acting jobs you can pursue and what the business looks like in 2019
•Getting going and finding auditions
•Keeping the ball rolling
2). Going to auditions:
•Tips on finding auditions
•What clients/agencies/directors really want from an audition
•What the typical process is behind the scenes
•How to best prepare and perform
•Making it to the next level: callbacks
3). Working on the shoot:
•Making a good first impression
•How a typical shooting day proceeds for the actor
•Working with crews and departments
•Proper etiquette: what to do, and what not to do
•Handling difficult situations on set
